Besides all of the other great things about this show, my favorite thing would have to be how it utilizes every single character brought on the show. They all have motivations, a purpose, and aren’t overshadowed by things like gender, sexuality, and race. Not to mention they’re developed extremely well, which is what makes hating any of these characters hard.

If you read what Marisa Mayer said and think she’s for real: you gotta know that what she says is all PR mumbo jumbo. If you don’t think she’s out to change, monetize, and generally force Yahoo! into Tumblr, then you’re being naive about the way the business world operates. She’s the CEO of a “dinosaur going extinct” internet company who’s made several recent public “whoopsie-daisies”; she’s needs Tumblr to work for them if they’re to survive. So even if she let Karp still be the CEO, there’s no way she’s not strictly dictating his agenda. This is a huge gamble for her she’s not going to let Tumblr be autonomous and hope for money to roll in. I’m sorry y’all but if you don’t believe general change and definitely ads are coming to Tumblr, then you’re living for yesterday.
